Shaving aluminum from the sides of the spokes relieves wheel stress and makes the wheel lighter which is a crucial element in racing. Twin Spokes - Enkei's dual open stance spoke design is used on the McLaren Formula One racing wheel. The twin spokes achieve better achieve better stress dispersion on curves, hard braking and extreme race driving. Pierce Bolt - These conventional pierce bolts are made from a newly developed material "SUSM7" that is extremely rust resistant. The shape of the bolt contributees to lighter wheel weight and adds an appending accent to the wheel. MAT Process - Wheels shaped by the MAT Process reduces the wheels weight by 10%-15%. Every pound of unsprung weight savings has the effect of reducing the overall vehicle weight by 20 lbs.
